I advise and represent companies in markets where competition depends on access to infrastructure, platforms and data.
My work centres on access to networks, platforms and data, the terms and charges for that access, abuse of market power, gatekeeper obligations under the Digital Markets Act, data sharing under the Data Act, and state aid control of publicly funded network deployment. I act in proceedings before the Bundesnetzagentur, the European Commission, national courts and the EU Courts.
Before entering private practice, I was in-house regulatory counsel at a large fibre network operator. During my legal traineeship I worked at the Bundeskartellamt, among other placements. For many years I was part of the core team of Telemedicus, where I built my specialism.

Since 2021 I have been a lecturer on the LL.M. programme Master of Business, Competition and Regulatory Law at Freie Universität Berlin, currently teaching Digital Market Regulation. Further teaching is listed with my publications and talks.
I hold a doctorate in competition law; my thesis is entitled „Kartellrechtliche Innovationstheorie für digitale Plattformen“. I studied in Jena, Thessaloniki and Münster and completed my legal traineeship at the Regional Court of Essen.
