About me

I am a lawy­er and spe­cia­list lawy­er for inter­na­tio­nal com­mer­cial law. My are­as of exper­ti­se are in anti­trust and tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons law. Befo­re my legal prac­ti­ce, I gai­ned prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence as in-house coun­sel for regu­la­ti­on at a lea­ding lar­ge fiber-optic net­work ope­ra­tor in Düsseldorf.

In addi­ti­on to my con­sul­ting, I rese­arch and publish on anti­trust issues of the infor­ma­ti­on socie­ty, the Digi­tal Mar­kets Act, access to data and tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons mar­ket regu­la­ti­on in various pres­ti­gious jour­nals and lea­ding commentaries.

Engagement

I have a PhD in anti­trust law at the inter­sec­tion of legal theo­ry and inno­va­ti­on theo­ry. At the Free Uni­ver­si­ty of Ber­lin, I teach Euro­pean Tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons Law. I am Secre­ta­ry Gene­ral of the Inter­na­tio­nal Foun­da­ti­on of Com­pu­ter Law Asso­cia­ti­ons (IFCLA) and Co-Chair of the Tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons and IT Secu­ri­ty Working Group at the Ger­man Socie­ty for Law and Infor­ma­tics (DGRI).
