About us

lou​ven​.legal is a law firm spe­cia­li­sing in com­pe­ti­ti­on and tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons law. We work in mar­kets whe­re com­pe­ti­ti­on depends on access to net­works, plat­forms and data, and whe­re com­pe­ti­ti­on law and regu­la­ti­on intersect.

Our work runs in two direc­tions. Extern­al­ly, we repre­sent com­pa­nies befo­re aut­ho­ri­ties and courts and in dealings with other mar­ket par­ti­ci­pan­ts in regu­la­to­ry, access and com­pe­ti­ti­on pro­cee­dings. Intern­al­ly, we embed com­pe­ti­ti­on com­pli­ance in the struc­tures of inter­na­tio­nal­ly acti­ve companies.

Dr. Sebas­ti­an Lou­ven wri­tes com­men­ta­ries on pro­vi­si­ons of the TFEU, the GWB, the TKG, the Digi­tal Mar­kets Act and the Data Act and tea­ches at Freie Uni­ver­si­tät Berlin.

The firm is a mem­ber of the Ger­man tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons asso­cia­ti­ons VATM and BREKO.
