The F.A.Z. Institute, affiliated with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of Germany’s leading national newspapers, and QuantiQuest have published their “TOP Lawyers 2027” ranking of German business lawyers. I am pleased to be among the lawyers recognised in the field of competition and antitrust law.
The ranking is based on recommendations from fellow lawyers and assessments by in-house counsel. According to the F.A.Z. Institute, particular weight in the ranking of business lawyers was given to assessments by corporate legal departments.
The published selection for competition and antitrust law comprises a total of only 20 lawyers in Germany. It includes lawyers from leading international and German business law firms as well as specialised competition law boutiques, including Freshfields, Hengeler Mueller, Gleiss Lutz, Noerr, Clifford Chance, Mayer Brown, BLOMSTEIN and GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ. I am listed for Louven Rechtsanwälte.
German and EU competition law has been a core focus of my legal practice and academic work for many years. My European practice also includes representing clients in proceedings before the Court of Justice and the General Court of the European Union.
A particular focus of my work lies at the intersection of competition law, telecommunications regulation and digital regulation. This includes, in particular, access to infrastructure and data, interoperability, abuse of market power and the regulation of digital platforms.
